Some owners choose to invest early draft capital into RBs, WRs, & TEs since the fantasy point variance from #1-12 is typically quite large by the end of the season. However, the point gap between the QBs are usually not as big. Consequentially, the quarterback streaming method has become very popular in recent years. So here's our top QB streamers for week 12:

note - Matchup rankings and point totals are from Yahoo Fantasy Sports Std scoring
1) Andy Dalton vs CLE (52% owned on Yahoo)
Streaming Andy Dalton this week is pretty close to a no brainier so I won't spend much time discussing him. He is also owned in 52% of Yahoo leagues, however, he's available in enough leagues that I wanted to mention him. Earlier this season when Dalton faced the Browns in Cleveland he put up 286 Pass Yds and 4 TDs. Additionally, Dalton has thrown for 2 or more touchdowns against the Browns in each of their last 5 meetings. I like Dalton as a potential top 10 play at the QB position this week.
2) Tyrod Taylor @ KC (40% owned on Yahoo)
Tyrod Taylor was dropped in the majority of leagues last week after the Bills foolishly pivoted to rookie Nathan Peterman at quarterback. Well we all know how that turned out. One half after being benched Tyrod re-took the reigns as Peterman threw a whopping 5 interceptions!! After stepping in Taylor threw for 158 Pass Yds, 1 Pass TD, 38 Rush Yds, and a Rush TD against a respectable San Diego pass defense. Sean McDermott has stated multiple times since the games conclusion that they have not decided on a starting QB for week 12. Hold on, wait what!? \(o.O)/
The 5-5 Bills are one game back from a wild card spot so I am absolutely mind boggled by their decision making. Nonetheless, with the uncertainty surrounding the week 12 starter, common sense tells me we can expect Tyrod to be under center this week. I know it seems that common sense doesn't work with the Bills organization but the potential match-up with KC along with the upcoming schedule makes Taylor worth the waiver claim. The Chiefs have been torched by QBs all year and are currently giving up the 9th most points to the position. Couple this with the disrespect Tyrod must feel and I expect a huge game from him this week. After Kanas City, the Bills face the Patriots, Colts, and Dolphins at home followed by the Patriots in New England. All of these teams are in the top 15 for points allowed to QBs which makes Taylor a great play for the remainder of the season,
3) Jacoby Brissett vs TEN (17% owned on Yahoo)
Jacoby Brissett hasn't been lighting the fantasy world on fire but he has shown me one thing: He's capable of being a starter in this league. Each week he looks more and more confident and has surprisingly kept his team in the majority of games this season. Additionally, he throws a beautiful deep ball. According to Pro Football Focus, Brissett's deep ball passer rating is about 30 points above the league average. Additionally, his passer rating is 2nd in the league when throwing 20+ yards. Fantasy football is all about touchdowns and Brissett's ability to bomb it down field makes him a great gamble (Also gives me some confidence in starting T.Y. Hilton this week).
This week Brissett faces the Tennessee Titans who have surrendered the 11th most fantasy points to QBs this season. On top of the great match-up, Brissett's ability to run the ball has provided a safe floor when compared to other streaming options. He has scored double digit fantasy points in each of his last 8 starts. If you are looking for a high floor streamer with potential for a breakout performance then Jacoby Brissett is your guy this week.

Desperation Stream: Joe Flacco vs HOU (14% owned on Yahoo)
I know, I know, you'd probably rather eat poop than start Flacco, but before you kill me hear me out! The Houston Texans are giving up the most fantasy points to QBs this season. They've been getting destroyed by QBs week in and week out. Last week they surrendered 257 Pass Yds and 3 Pass TDs to BLAINE GABBERT! Yes, Arizona Cardinals 3rd string QB, Blaine Gabbert, threw for 3 touchdowns on the Texans. Yes, last week Blaine Gabbert threw for the most touchdowns he has ever had in a a single NFL game.
If we're ever going to see the "Elite" Joe Flacco ever again it will be this week versus the Texans. Now I know Flacco has scored single digit fantasy points in half of his games played this year, but to his defense, he hasn't faced a match-up this easy. He's actually had one of the tougher schedules for QBs. Joe Flacco is not a good quarterback by any means, however, if you miss out on the other streamers, this is the ONE time this season you can start Joe Flacco and feel okay about it(if you're truly that desperate I wouldn't be opposed to rolling the dice on Maclin or Wallace this week either).
