Some owners choose to invest early draft capital into RBs, WRs, & TEs since the fantasy point variance from #1-12 is typically quite large by the end of the season. However, the point gap between the QBs are usually not as big. Consequentially, the quarterback streaming method has become very popular in recent years. It's the final week before playoffs and here are some QB streaming options for a successful final push:

1) Case Keenum @ ATL (47% owned on Yahoo)
Case Keenum has been hot over his past 4 starts. Keenum's situation seems a lot like Alex Smith's to me. As the media started calling for Keenum's benching, we started to see him really take control of the offense. A week ago Zimmer praised Keenum saying, "The thing I like about Case the most is he's got big balls," and "He's not afraid. He's going to pull the trigger and he's going to play like that." Two days after being praised by his head coach, Keenum threw for 282 Pass Yds, 2 Pass TDs, 20 Rush Yds, & 1 Rush TD in Detroit on Thanksgiving. He's on fire right now and I expect this trend to continue against the Falcons in Atlanta this week. Julio Jones finally got going last week and the Falcons offense has been much better as of late. The Vikings will need to score points to compete in this game. Additionally, Falcons starting corner, Desmond Trufant, suffered a concussion this past week and is questionable for Sunday. Trufant is a great corner and would make things easier for Keenum and the receivers if he were to miss. Falcons' starting nickel corner, Brian Poole, also left last week with a back injury and is day to day. This game is setting up to be high scoring and I would feel very confident rolling out Case Keenum this week.
2) Jameis Winston @ GB (41% owned on Yahoo)
Jameis Winston is set to return to practice this Wednesday. Barring a setback, there is a good chance he suits up in Green Bay this Sunday. The Buccaneers have struggled as a team this year and Koetter will be looking for a strong finish if he wants to keep his job. Winston is a gunslinger and should take shots against this Packers secondary which got torched by Big Ben a week ago. Green Bay is currently giving up the 16th most points to QBs so the match-up should not scare anyone. Additionally, game script should be favorable since the Bucs defense is horrendous. Brett Hundley had no trouble scoring on the Steelers last week and should keep the pressure on Tampa this week as well. As long as Winston's injury news is positive leading up to the game I'd feel happy starting him. Jameis's return should also bring back relevance to his favorite target, Cameron Brate, down the stretch.
3) Brett Hundley vs TB (7% owned on Yahoo)
Outside of the Ravens game, Brett Hundley has shown improvement each game since taking over for Aaron Rodgers in week 6. Last week on prime time Hundley had his best game of the season throwing for 245 Pass Yds and 3 Pass TDs. This is quite an impressive feat because he did this against the Pittsburgh Steelers who give up the 2nd least points to QBs. Now, a couple of the big plays were on broken coverage but I'm not afraid of his upcoming test. His match-up against the Buccaneers this week will be his easiest of the season as they surrender the 6th most points to QBs. Hundley's previous easiest match-up was against the Lions(18th Most) where he put up 245 Pass Yds, 22 Rush Yds, & a Rush TD totaling 18 fantasy points in standard leagues. Based on past performances, I believe Hundley has a relatively safe floor this week. Personally, I'm more confident starting him over Marcus Mariotta or Dak Prescott this week. Additionally, If you're in a real QB pinch he could prove to be a great play next week as well when he faces the Cleveland Browns.

1) Josh McCown vs KC (35% owned on Yahoo)
Others may be higher on Josh McCown as a streamer this week but I'm a little hesitant. I think my hesitation comes from being a life long Jets fan. I've seen this team gain momentum so many times just to disappoint when I start to believe in them. Just a few weeks ago the Jets came into a prime time game against the surging Buffalo Bills and blew them out. Everyone then proceeded to rush out and scoop McCown for his next juicy match-up against the Bucs. He then goes on to put up 13 fantasy points. The current situation seems eerily similar. Jets come out and look explosive on offense in a tough match-up against the Carolina Panthers and then follow up with a easy match-up on paper versus the Chiefs. Additionally, the Chiefs defense has also looked a little better as of late. I do understand that they didn't face any elite quarterbacks but they did limit both Eli Manning & Tyrod Taylor. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a get right game for the Chiefs. If you're thinking of getting cute and starting McCown over say Stafford @ Baltimore or Matt Ryan vs Minnesota because of the tough match-up, I recommend you stick with the more talented QBs. Now if you're debating between Dak or Blake Bortles and McCown, then fine, go ahead and play Josh McCown.
2) Tyrod Taylor vs NE (50% owned on Yahoo)
Some of you may think about streaming Tyrod Taylor this week since the Patriots have given up the 5th most points to quarterbacks. This number is skewed and I'd highly advise against it. Since week 5 the New England Patriots defense hasn't let up more than 17 points in a game. Since week 7 the patriots have not let up more than one passing touchdown. The Patriots faced Matt Ryan, Phillip Rivers, and Derek Carr during this span, who are all better quarterbacks than Tyrod Taylor. Not much more needs to be said. The Patriots are firing on all cylinders and I have no confidence in Taylor this week. Honestly, I think you have better chance playing Geno Smith in Oakland. Tyrod Taylor should not be streamed this week in any circumstance.
